A good friend of mine has just treated himself to a nice red Audi S4, so of course whose the first person your going to call?
Thats right the insurance company and ask where they wanted to go on holiday:lol:
So after we'd arranged a day for the make over it was just a case of hoping the weather would hold out.
Which apart from the thick fog until lunchtime, it did.
So not as cold as yesterday (thank goodness)
So set about with a quick Optimum No-rinse wash (great stuff this) and as he had been claying it over the past week, skipped that step.
A nice fella called Mr S let me borrow his Metabo again (such a nice bloke that Neil:thumb: ) and i was going to either use the Menz i had or the Blackfire SRC twins, but as i wanted to use up as much of the bits i no longer use settled on Meguiars #80 Speed glaze:doublesho .
And really glad i did, one pass and most swirls were gone, leaving a nice glossy finish.
While i did one side Mark set about on the PC with the Blackfire SRC Finishing polish, again great results, although the #80 had the slight edge as it was a little glossier.
Then the whole car was treated to Meguairs #7 Show car glaze, then topped with Meguiars #16 wax and WOW
What a finish it was, these to products never looked this good the last time i used them(on the Astra)
Onto the photos:

Swirls

No more swirls, just loads of tiny stone chips

Half and half

Left trim after polish, right side pink
