    My Detail of the Year - Teaser Pics

    Could this be Bryan and my detail of the year???



    Aint no paint or coating here...



    So we set to first off by hand on a test section on the bonnet:



    But still many swirls, so switched to PC:



    Not bad considering this is bare aluminium we're polishing here - full defect removal is gonna be tough!

    Anyways, just a final pic of where we got to today:



    Full write up of this beauty (1922 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost) in about a week when we've finished! Thought you might like to see what will be keeping us busy from Monday onwards next week though!

    Got a rather nice Leon to do tomorrow! :thumb:

        At a nearby apartment there is a family that has a Royce. Problem is, this is not an upscale apartment with fully covered parking. Instead, it is under partial cover outside, and because the royce is so long, it doesnt quite fit underneath. To make matters worse, I dont think it has a top, so the interior is fully exposed to the elements.

        It hurts me when I see it. The paint is chipping off and the seats are cracking.
        Proud owner of the finest looking car in the parking lot.
        Switch to Linux. Use energy efficient lightbulbs and appliances. Keep your car well maintained and drive easy to save gas. Eat less fast food. Call your mother and tell her you love her. Try flying a kite. Read a wikipedia article daily. Use Meguiar's.

          Looks like you've got the detail of a life time. WOW! a 1922 RR Silver Ghost, a famous car I've only read about & seen b/w pix of from that era. Enjoy the opportunity!
