  • Black Porsche 996 Turbo

Here is one last car I got in before I moved back to Colorado. It was SO swirled but the paint was nice and soft and buffed out nicely! I also did a Carrera GT for the same customer and I'll post some pics of that soon. So, here we go:
    Before:

Some shots of the swirls on the hood:

One pass of Speed Glaze #80 = No more swirls!

And 80 also leaves a great shine!

And after 2 coats of NXT. Some reflection!

    Some direct sun shots.

And remember that nasty hood from above? Looks a lot better now.

And finally, some full car shots.

Thanks Slick. It was a really fun car to do. And no, I didn't charge any more than I would for any other car of similar size and condition.

Thanks Mike. I have an extreme makover in the works on an 04 VW Passat. Right now it's just a matter of getting over 100 pictures in order to tell the story so it makes sense!

That's a lot of work, maybe try to do it with around 20?

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I have over 100 and I'm trying to narrow it down to about 15. Anyway, it should be up in a couple days as I have time.

                            Sweet work and awesome ride.

I usually enjoy working on those but wait until you get a cayenne to polish-

I did a kinda metalic brown Turbo Cayenne a couple weeks ago. I didn't notice anything that really stood out. What were you referring to? The paint wasn't as soft as the 911 but it didn't strike me as particularly hard either.

                              And thanks Joe!
