    #26 by hand
#21 by hand on all the metal/powdercoat bits and rims

I know this is mostly car guys but I thought you guys might appericate my bike.

381 pounds wet (at the drag strip scales) with a full tank and dynoed at 108.3 hp at the tire. That would be similar to a 3810 lb car producing 1083 horsepower

Figure on 120 or so horsepower at the crank from 599 cc's or .59 of a liter!!!!

My best time on at the digs is 10.73 @ 129 mph, but I'm getting better, and it handles as well as a Porsche.

Great work on your bike, it really shines now. I'm curious about how you stayed on the bike while take the shot of your speedo at 160mph?

                  Thanks for all the compliments...

I wasn't going 160, when you turn the key on all the gauges go to there maximum and count backwards, I just snapped the photo at that instant (which is why there is now engine temp under the gas reading and the oil pressure light was on, because the engine hadn't been started ) I would never ride that fast on the street, I have a family.

And no, Honda stopped making the Blackbird in 2002 I think. By brother owned one. It was a 1100cc, 550 lb beast that put out 145 horsepower.

My bike is a 2005 CBR600 RR which is designed more for that track, weighing in a 381 pounds wet (about 356 dry) and putting down only 108 horses to the tire (about 120 at the motor). It will still run 10.7's all day long and get 50 mpg on the highway.
