I use to have a problem removing #7, but now it's so easy, it's basically like removing wax
The mistake I made was i tried to apply too much and because it's oil-based, it's not going to dry up like wax.
You definitely need cool shade.
Apply #7 with thin coating using an applicator pad. Applying it enough to cover the surface will be more than enough. What I do is:

Apply the #7 down a straight line and then use the pad (without adding more #7) in a zigzag motion down the line. Keep on spraeding it. When you feel you need more #7 in a cetain area, just add a tiny bit to the pad and apply it within that area. Like wax, you do not need a lot of #7 for your car. I used a microfiber cloth to remove #7.
