Yeah, you are probably right - I don't remember Joe using #7 that much. I guess it all depends on what condition it was in before...

        Looks fantastic

Doesn't the wipers park very high up on the windscreen? Nah, I wouldn't want one of those, when it's got such wipers

My guess is Joe just gave it a coat of Turtle wax, and called it a day
"Now Biff... make sure that we get two coats of wax this time..."

The car is only a few weeks old.

The car had already been butchered with a buffer but it wasn't anything we couldnt handle with over 17 polishing man hours armed with #85, #9 and #21.

              Car looks AWESOME!

The SLR is my dream car. I've seen a few and even sat in one, but never even heard one started.

BTW, I presume it has the "nano paint" clearcoat the modern MB's have. Did you find that it is much harder to work with?

Thanks, it wasn't especially harder or easier than any other paint we have worked on.

Thanks for these pics Joe, I had just finished my dinner ( )

Geez these cars are nice though. F1 uses one for a pace car. I'm an American Muscle lover, but even I must admit that this sounds AWESOME

In 2004 and 2005 F1 used a SLK55, which has a similar looking nose to the SLR. This year, the safety car is a CLK63.

Incredible SLR. Ever since Top Gear raced the SLR across Europe, I've been an admirer.

What is the blue car in this reflection?

                        A future project -

We washed it this time but will completely polish it out soon.

                          Wow! That's quite the collection.

Is that a Gallardo in the back?

I eagerly await the detail of the Bugatti (I think that's what it is). I'll keep my eyes open.

It looks to me that the headlights are not as wide. If this is true, it is a Gallardo.

Still, how did that person get a Bugatti? The EB110 is SOOO rare and expensive!

Nice job on the SLR. Never seen one before, but it looks nice.

                                85% sure its a Murcielago

...isn't an SLR just as rare and expensive?

edit 100% sure its a Murcielago..not the long mirrors and that there is no air intake in the middle of the car behind the door. I the the Murcielago has on that is behind the door but very low down and also another air intake that pops ou of the side/top of the car
