  • detailed a RX300 before/after pics....

Well I detailed this RX300 and I have to start out by saying this was one of the worst interiors I have ever done in my life.... This guy was house sitting some old mans house in Laguna and took horrible care of his two cars. The interior was soooo bad I knew i couldn't do much for it as i ADVERTISE on my website i only do a BASIC interior detail and do NOT do shampooing... i vacuumed the guys car and did the dash and door panels.. after that I began on the exterior of the car.

This guy was supposed to have a working hose for me as we spoke about on the phone, he didn't... it was split in two held together by tape... I had to make do with what he had and began the detail. I washed it and clayed it, did the trim/tires windows etc... was going to wax with colorX but get this.... the guy was disappointed because the interior wasn't shampooed... I explained to him that I didn't do that and that wasn't advertised on my site. He wasn't too happy and started complaining and wanted to get the job for cheaper. He ended up saying for me to just stop and he'd pay me 85 dollars for the work i've done so far... what a horrible experience for me but anyway... here are some pics of the cars before/after AFTER has only been clay barred.... no wax applied. I should have taken pics of the interior but I needed to get out of there...

    AFTER

Also this guy wanted me to WASH this car........ I can't believe how horribly covered in leaves it was... so basically i got 85 dollars to do a partial detail of his lexus and do a FAST wash job of this white car... don't have any afters of the white one cause the guy was leaving and i needed to pack up... didn't look too great anyway, just imagine it without the leaves. ;]

Note about the above arrow inserts... this is what makes the difference between someone who will succeed and someone who will make excuses. Run what you brung, or use what you have, it simply means to incorporate the philosophy of "Whatever it takes" into your business and you'll succeed.

    Nice work, way to go!

Not to sound offending but don't you carry a hose with you ? I have one of those 50 foot coil hoses and it works good and then all ya need is a water spiggot and then ya can have the sprayer you want too.

Maybe you shoud go out and get a little green machine or the bigger one...they work really good and works great for your own home and autos as well.....most people reallly llike having their rugs and seats shampooed ,even if the car isnt in as bad a shape as the one you did and it makes all the difference in the detail, which brings you more work.
