The end of my maternity leave (my vacation time), figured I'd spruce up my ride. I'm embarrassed of the paint's condition. (I need to work on my picture taking skills.)
There's plenty of work to do on this one. I tried to polish the truck earlier this spring but had hazing / marring problems so I stopped.
This time I tried #82. I hadn't cared for #82 as it seemed too watery and not very useful. Wrong! I made giant leaps in surface care knowledge with this product last night and today.
I still had the marring problem though. I had to re-polish the panels from last evening this morning with SSR 1. I felt there had to be a fix. How could a level 3 polish kick my rear end like that. Well I started again and worked the polish even longer. Problem solved.
I finally could see how polishes breakdown through the stages. If one questions how to know when a polish is broken down, they should first use the polish by hand to really see what's going on.
Anyway the process...
wash with hyper-wash
#82
PBs SSR 1--> 1/2 the truck
Klasse AIO (cause I like it like that)
#21 as the topper
After
The first pic is a bit grainy

There's still some damage to the paint that I'll get next time. I didn't have a garage when I got the truck.
Did run into problems with #21. After an hour, here's the swipe test...
Still wet. Not sure what the problem was. Removal wasn't that bad though. This was weird too... Water droplet on the surface after I smeared the pad around.
