  • #16 topped NXT reflections

As a follow-up to my "Starting over" thread, here are a few pics after a 2nd coat of NXT topped by #16. The second coat of NXT was applied a couple of days after the 1st coat and the #16 was applied a few hours after the 2nd coat.

All of these pics are untouched except for resizing.

    Wow!

Your car's finish really looks glossy. Reminds me of Newport Viper's Viper.

What else did you do to the car besides just waxing...

        And what is #16 ???

          This is #16,

          Technically, it's called,

M-1611 Professional Paste Wax. Many people find it as good or better than another popular wax called P21S only it tends to be easier to find, less expensive to purchase, and you get about twice as much wax in the can.

It is a wax that came out in the early 1950's and is still going strong today.

Thanks Mike... I'll have to look around for it, as I don't believe I've ever seen this at my local stores..I might just have to order it on-line.

The car was washed, then the finish was clayed, then cleaned & polished using Meguiars DACP #83. This was followed by 2 coats of NXT Tech wax (24 hours apart) and topped with the #16

Nice work Don. I really like what NXT does for yellow!

Here is a cloudy day shot. Notice the uniform gloss from the nose to the hood!
