  • 1998 Red Saturn and First Time Using #21

    hey everyone,

I detailed this car for a client yesterday. Its is a daily driver and sees tons of miles. The lower front bumper cover and hood have a lot of road rash. I did a test spot using 80 on a polishing pad and speed 5. I ended up needing to use 83 then 80 and finish with 21.This was the first time that I used 21 and all I can say is WOW. Very easy to apply and remove with the pc, and the shine and gloss are very impressive. Here are some pics any comments are greatly appreciated.

Is it just me or is that car orange now? Great job, you have the system down for sure!

the car was not a pure red more like a orange red. Red also for me atleast turns orange in pics.

How much $$$ do you charge for a job like that? Is car detailing profitable? Or is it a hobby that most people break even with?

Car detailing is definitely a profitable business if you know what you are doing. Take www.supremeshine. com for example.

A nice looking glossy red - how the colour should look! Nice work!

                hey Rwayne,

I charged 175 only because I had to do a full interior cleaning before I polished out the car. Otherwise a car this size would be about 135. for me it is a hobby but I am making money at it and not just breaking even.
