  • My Dodge Ram!

I did a quickie on my Rumble Bee today.

I just hit it with #80 and then NXT. I also hit the tires with Meguiars Hot Shine ( I think? - it's a random bottle I had left over ), and did the full #40 treatment inside and out.

I ended up skipping the wheels for the time being, as I want to clay them. The truck itself didn't need clay, so I'm going to finish it up tomorrow morning.

    Here are the pics though:

      Thanks!

I'm going to try and head out to one of the local Forest Preserves tomorrow and see if I can take some better pictures. I always hate trying to take them in the driveway with random houses, people, ect in the background. I always end up with weird angle shots - imho.

        Hi:

        Very nice. Nice paint.

Is that an ARE cover on your truck?

If so, how do you like it?

Have you had any problems with it?

Do you known which model you have?

        Thanks

        Regards,

Hey that thing got a HEMI? SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!!!!
I know it does, just had to say it. You know what I mean. Awesome truck. I have an 04 QC 4X4 with chrome 20s and the HEMI of course. They are great trucks with a serious power! The Ford and Chevy guys have nothing on us!

              Love the truck.

Dodge is coming out with a lot of nice models lately. I just wish they were a little better of fuel as I drive about 500 miles a week

It is the ARE LSII model. I haven't had any problems with it. I definately like it. It's been through a couple hurricanes without leaks!

Have you done anything to your L? I know I can beat the earlier L models ( before they put the S/C on them ) and can hang pretty well with stock L's depending on the driver. I get beat - but it's not a crushing kill. The last L I played with light-to-light, I ended up hangin on right at the driver door.

I'm happy with the Hemi, I really didn't buy it to race - I just wanted something that had some balls to it when needed.

A Lightening is compared to a SRT/10, not a stock 1500. It would take a sepecial model ford to beat a regular Dodge. Lightenings are sweet trucks that many people would want, but apples to apples an SRT/10 is a faster truck.

                            Exactly,

Comparing the 3 trucks together is like compairing apples to oranges to pears. They are all in different classes.

How about my N/A Titan? Nissan claims 305 hp at the flywheel, but chassis-dyno's have been proving about 290-295 hp at the wheels...so that 305 seems a bit conservative.

I am running a CAI, exhaust, and a simple timing mod - which has gotten others around 340hp at the wheels.

I didn't buy mine to race either - but it's nice to know it's there when I need it.

The best part is I get close to 20 mpg on the freeway.

By the way, I detailed a modded SRT/10 a couple months ago - the guy said to take it for a spin - and good Lord, that thing was just unreal. Made my Titan feel like a Chevy Luv...
