  • What A Reflection Shot

Boy, I wish that reflection contest was still going...lol

This was shot off my roof! I have flipped the photo to "right" the words for you!

My Dad said once..."Son...you can never do enough for a good customer!" I Said "Don't worry Dad...I won't"!

        The process:

"Wash" with Mother's California Gold Showtime Instant Detailer (Car was clean, just a little dusty)

        Apply by hand Meguiar's NXT
        Apply by hand Meguiar's #7
        Apply by hand P21S

        And the results are impressive:

Very cool! If you said it was a photo of the store front and not a reflection I would have believed you!

And the only thing to give it away is that minor essance of Orange Peel on my camera lens....lol

Why did you apply #7 AFTER NXT?

                  Antonio,

I applied #7 after NXT because I didn't want the cleaning actions of NXT to remove any of the #7! I was not using #7 to fill swirls, nor the NXT for that matter..no swirls on my car...teeeheehee!

The main reason though, is that while I love NXT on black, it doesn't give me the reflective wet look that I seek! It deepens my black like nothing I have ever seen before (yet to try my Pinnacle Souveran) but it just doesn't give me the wet reflective look!

I'm trying to find a balance between Dark & Black & Deep...and very very wet looking!
