  • A whole lotta paint and chrome

It was born the same year I was, lived a dealer car for a year, and was purchased in 1969. It has only had 2 owners, and is about to go for sale again.

I was asked to clean it up and get it ready.

This little beauty is a Ford XL...commonly refered to as the Galaxie XL. It has every available option Ford offered that year except AC. (Being a Northeast Car, Ford felt that the Convertible top was enough) It has 85K for miles and has been repainted once. The rest is original......and she is a cruiser!

    The process was simple.....

    Wash
    Clay
    #66
    Endurance on the skins
    hyperdressing on the top

It was really clean and had a few blemishes, I wasn't out to make them all go away

For the white striping on the tires, do you use fine sandpaper to get it super white? This is something I heard not too long ago.
