Ive known this guy for a few months now through my car club message board but never met him in person. Finally he stopped by my place today and after taking a good look at his car I realized his paint was in absolutely horrible shape. Like.. this is one of the worst Ive seen.

Anyways.. I pulled a couple goodies out of the Meguiars bag and within 5 minutes I did the tape trick and showed him what I could do for him.

3 quick passes with ScratchX and one quick pass with Cleaner Wax on his black sail panel... all by hand of course. The results were enough to gain myself a future customer.

Isn't it funny when you show somebody what a little elbow grease, and some quality products can do! Most people can't believe what they see!

gb387.. no I didnt, not yet anyway. I did this on Sat night after we washed his car getting ready for a car club gathering the next day. It was the first time I met him and had I known beforehand we wouldve gotten it done sooner. I do have a date with that car soon though. Hes having some vinyl rally stripes put on it and I suggested he had those put on first before I detail it for adhesiveness purposes.

Mandarina.. this guy was literally blown back by the difference I made. The next day at our car club gathering he pointed out what I had done to the others... may have gained myself a few more future customers by that one little demonstration.

Looking at those pics anyone would be blown away. That is awesome. I hope your elbows are good if your getting that many customers!

i normally achieve that with machines..
