2005 Ford Mustang V6 Deluxe - Windveil Blue

Yesterday, I gave my Mustang a well-deserved wash and wax using steps 1-4 of Meguiar's 5-Step Paint Care Cycle:



I. Washing
Meguiar's NXT Generation Car Wash
Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
The Original California MicroMitt

II. Cleaning/Prepping
Clay Magic The Perfect Shine Kit (hood & front bumper only)
Meguiar's ColorX

III. Polishing
Meguiar's Deep Crystal System #2 Polish (hood & front bumper only)

IV. Protecting
Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax (Paste)





So far, I've applied two coats of NXT within a 12-hour period. I'll apply a third coat tomorrow morning. In the meantime, here are some pics I took over at Griffith Park, CA. Enjoy.

I love the clean lines of that model year--it has a one-off custom look--like Chip Foose took a basic model and "cleaned" it up. My son has a 1999 so I always notice Mustangs.

I never really paid attention to Mustangs until Ford released the 2005 Mustang GT Concept back in 2003. Since then, I knew I wanted one.

I've had my V6 for 10 months now, and I probably won't trade it in for anything else.

Looks good brilliant work, ford over here had a colour like that 'aqua frost' i think, but it was on the fiesta, we dont see many mustangs these new ones look awesome. is the sirius on the roof a speed camera detector. i have one similar for my road angel.

Is the Sirius on the roof a speed camera detector. i have one similar for my road angel.

Actually, it's the antenna for my SIRIUS Satellite Radio.

Also, the above picture, keep an eye on your antenna wire, our Yukon had the wire ran the same and I had a puddle of water this winter on the drivers side floorboard. It was awful. Traced it from the wire down the rubber seals and the water was directed right to the floor through the kick panel, lucky I didn't short anything out.
