    Nice ride...

C'mon, you can't hold out the details...... What's under the hood?

it should have a 4g63 block, and a turbo. if you put an evo cylinder head on it. it'd essentially be an evo powered mirage. and thats what i'd do (but then again im biased).

oh, and put a bigish turbo on it. at least a 16g, 20g or a GT28 ball bearing. that'd be awesome

Very pretty. Detailed without being In-Your-Face.

I think they sold those as Lancer's down under, and the 3-door hatch as the Mirage, but I could be wrong.

You think about colour-coding the door handles (white or gloss black)? The dull plastic looks a bit out of place.

Interesting... not my cup of tea but it looks like you love your ride and thats all that matters, right?

BTW.. how does someone end up getting sponsored by Meguiars? This is the second car Ive seen posted here that was sponsored by Megs in the short time Ive been here.

On the website there is a sponsorship request form,
it has the information you need to fill out,
and also what you need to send them (a proposal, letter, photos.. etc)

              thanks for the comments guys!!

Awesome... thank you! Im thinking about getting back into the car show scene, used to do import car shows years ago and did really well. A sponsorship from Meguiars would be killer!

Anymore details on the car? Engine wise? Being boosted is fun, isnt it?

One of the STi owners in Sydney quoth:

"God invented turbo lag to give V8s a chance."

I'm sure that the mirage has got enough under the hood to be a street sleeper. Yes. I'm calling a car covered in stickers a sleeper - There are no turbo brand decals on the body, which means she doesn't want us to know

Any plans to retrim the interior/detail the undercarriage?

                    oh not really a sleeper,
I have a stock evo 8 IC sticking out from behind my bumper,
I just didnt post any shots of the front
here is a front pic before the graphics.

as for the interior, i have a set of Buddy Club Racing seats,
Nardi Steering wheel, and a few other things.
There are more pics of the car on my cardomain page (the link in my sig)
and there is a couple of engine shots and a list of my car mods.

I thankyou for all your nice comments!!

aint that the truth. a supercharged mustang GT found that out the hard way last night

as the turbo gets bigger, you have more lag, but more power. and of course, more hope is inspired in the other driver. also this is a very famous saying when referring tot he ferrari F40. " 'look im keeping up with a ferrari' 'what ferrari' 'uh... that one thats a mile ahead of us now ' "

                        I sit corrected

36-way adjustables! I'd still call it a sleeper... Just the hairdresser (no offence) shape of the mirage makes it so easy to underestimate. Civics are like that as well.

Best of luck with the show/track etc. I'm feeling a bit inspired to spend a bit more on my car and enter the show circuit myself now!

Not meaning to be rude, but I don't care for the paint job at all. It's just not my style. I'm sure the people that like that kind of thing, would like it though (how's that for a profound thought? some president or someone like that said that one time...it's hilarious to me). Looks like a nice car!
