  • 2006 Ion Quad Coupe

This is my fairly new car, i love it and will maintain it as best i can...i've already polished and waxed 3 times within the 2 weeks of owning it (trying a few different things). First time was just gold class wax which looked good, second time i used #7 show car glaze which turned out to be a bit of a pain but really looked good, i topped it off with a synthetic sealant...then after i washed it a few days later i applied the gold class wax again (mostly cause i was in the mood). Since its a new car i didnt have to use the machine polisher...did it all by hand....stuff like this helps make a new car feel more personal. Oh yea! i also lowered it 1.75" since it looked like a 4x4...the last picture is stock hight but since the picture was taken downward it doesnt look as high. I love the doors.

thanks for the compliments guys. Only thing i hate is that after a day of collecting dust from the air the beautiful depth of the shine isnt as apparent untill i clean it again, i'm thinking of getting a california duster or something so i can wipe it off at work (park in gravel). The doors are stock, kinda like the RX-8 except a little roomier. The 1.75" is actually a brand called suspension genius, i had to trim the front springs a bit since they werent perfect (its a cheaper brand but work just as good). A couple of guys at my shop had a problem with the rears sagging with the eibachs that they bought so i figgured i'd try the other brand available (at half the cost. I wanted a dark color but i didnt like blue or red so black was the only other option available and i didnt want to wash it every day and its depressing seeing the car dirty, lol.
