  • New Car's first detail (pics)

    Got myself a new car last week, well new to me an ex demo with the usual ex-demo random scratches. First detail today as temp in the low 60s for first time this year.

    Gold Class Wash

    Quik Detailer and Clay bonnet (hood) and wings

    Show Car Glaze & NXT Wax.

    Tyres Endurance Tire Shine

    Alloys just Gold Class Wash as brand new.

    Car is a SEAT (Say-at) Leon T-FSI 185bhp VAG Engine (same as VW Golf GTI and Audi A3) 0-60 7.6sec 199lb torque.

      Yep thinking of chipping it Can get to 240bhp for about £500. The VAG engines seem to be made for it

      Was in NY last summer, must get back there soon.

              Thanks for comments folks. These cars are pretty rare over here too sure gets a lot of attention (so far the good kind).

              Jules re chipping a company called Morego (Starchip) extra 45bhp for £475 - will depend on how much the insurance goes up by though
