  • BMW 325Ci Coupe

    Good Evening all,

I'm a newbie here, but I've been lurking for a while.

It's a 4 day public holiday here in the UK, so I have spent the last 2 days getting my car in tip-top condition.

Yesterday was mostly spent cleaning the interior, shampoo'ing the carpet and cleaning the leather. However I did manage to wash the car off with Gold Class Shampoo, clean the alloys with Hot-Rims and clay the entire car.

Today was spent applying and buffing off Crystal polish stage 1, 2 and 3 (My arms ache!!), detailing with trim detailer, swabbing out all the nooks and crannies with Q-tips and just for good measure I gave the whole car a second coat of Stage 3 Carnuba wax.

Finally I polished the Alloys, applied Tyre-shine and polished the windows.

This was my first time using Hot-Rims, Clay bar and the crystal polish system (I've defected from another manufacturer!!), and I must say, I'm very impressed, the depth of colour and the reflections are amazing.

    Take a look for yourselves:

Just before I go, can I ask for some advice? Stage 1 and 3 went on and buffed off no problem, but Stage 2 was a swine to buff off. Did I do something wrong?

    Toodle-pip.

    Jules

I used rain-x on the windows. Not a megs product I know, but it does a good job at keeping the rain off !
