  • Mobile detailing Cart

Ive been looking for a product like this for over a year now. I wanted it to be mobile with a tall large work surface, it had to have drawers so all my detailing stuff would fit. and it had to be strong. Last week i was in home depot and saw these stanley workshop units, it was everything i wanted, 3 drawers with ball bearing slides, empty it weighs close to 50lbs. The heavy duty casters were sold by themselves for $10 for the set, 2 of them have brakes. I got the cart on sale for $129. The unit is strong plastic, with brushed aluminum panels on the drawers. The instructions were decent, however it said it takes 25min to put it together, it ended up taking an hour & half. there's a ton of room left in the drawers for future products. It has peg board sides to hang my bushes, it includes hooks. It holds 220lbs. It has a life time warranty. Measures 34''H 20''D 30''W the bottom drawer is just over 11'' deep so my tallest bottle Hot Rims fits with a 1/4'' clearance.

Hummm... I like! I have stuff just about everywhere. Sure would be nice to have one place for everything, even better it rolls around. Looks like the bottom drawer is very deep at 11"!

        Wow!

I *love* it. It's just what I need.

50 lbs is a little heavy for me. I'm sure I can get a big, strong man at Home Depot to lift it into my car. If it has to be assembled, maybe I can just open the box in the car and take the pieces out one at a time to assemble.

It $129 a reasonable price for this given size and materials? It seems a bit expensive but I have nothing to compare it to...I've never gone shopping for large tool storage.

I'd be interested in a report a week and month down the road to hear your thoughts after you've lived with it a bit.

It is certainly attractive and seems real practical.

Seems reasonable to me, it is hard to find something with just a couple large drawers most "tool" storage has a bunch of smaller drawers. Another more expensive feature are the ball bearing slides.
