I had bought a PC 7336 about 3 months ago. Being a college student, I do not get alot of time to do things like detailing my truck when I go home. At the end of Christmas break, however, I was faced with some unseasonably warm weather. What did I do? I broke out the new PC with the white, junky pad that came with it, and my new "old stand-by": ColorX.
Unfortunately, I didn't get any before pictures, and it was getting dark when we finished it. So we jumped in the truck, and drove up to a golf course that is on an old strip-mine to get some pictures. This area is usually a nice, low-traffic area to take pictures, and it illustrates some of the beauty of Eastern Kentucky.

A side view from afar.
A rear view
And some reflection shots!!!
From the side of the bed.
That is the tailgate
Off of the hood.
It's getting dark, but the chrome is still shining!!

All we did (and had time for) was wash the truck, and work in the colorx using the pc w/ the cheap white pad that came with it on setting 4 (I didn't trust that pad too much). But, as you can see from the pictures, it didn't do too bad at all considering the pad choice and the time this took me. We did this in about 2 1/2 hours. I believe these results are a real testament to the effectiveness of colorx. It provides me with great results for the type of product that it is, and the time required to use it. This is esp. impressive when you consider that this truck is a 1998 Chevy with 117,000 miles, factory paint, and that it has been driven daily in Eastern Kentucky since new. Thank you Meguiars!!!!
Also, you may be able to notice the tires in the side view. All I did was use the Nxt Tire Cleaner. This was my first experience with this product, and I didn't achieve the results that everyone else seems to. All I did was wet the tire, apply the cleaner over the whole sidewall, and let it sit for about 20-30 seconds before working it in really well with a tire brush. The tires felt pretty clean, as though I had used alcohol, but didn't look as good as I had hoped. Is there anything else I should be doing??
Also, due to time constraints, I was unable to apply any dressings that I normally do.
I went back to college two days later, and on the way, it poured the rain.
