  • Over the weekend...

Over the weekend I was bumming around with my PS2 then my other half called me to drop by her place to help remove some tar on the bottom panels of her white car.

So off I went armed with DC1, DC2 & M16.... And here are the results.

    I used :
    DC1 with a polishing cloth
    DC2 with foam applicator
    M16 with foam applicator

I love the M16 with it's super beading ability and it holds out for at least a full month with weekly washing.

Last but not least, MOL is a wonderful forum. I have indeed learned a lot by just reading all the postings and trying them out myself.

Any advice or comments are most welcome. I'm still a amatuer at detailing who hopes to start using a ROB soon.

Thanks sneek! It was a very tiring affair since I was working by hand. But I'm always happy with the results using all Meguiar's Products.

Few questions that I need fellow detailers to help...

Is it ok if I actually skipped the polishing step with DC2 after cleaning the paint with DC1 and go straight with a wax/sealant?

And would I be better off be using ColorX instead of DC1 & DC2 to clean my paint? Understand that ColorX is a one step product that does both so would the end results be different?

If I'm using ColorX to clean my paint then followed with NXT as my sealant, do I need to wait for ColorX to cure before i seal it with NXT since it leaves a layer of protection?
