My Brother and i love Meguiars

Today i had the chance to work and detail my brother Skoda Superb. The car was almost clean but had some fine scraches and swirls.

The process involved the following:
1:Wash the car with Gold Class Shampoo and Conditioner.
2:Since the paint was almost clean i skipped the Clay and jumped to applying Diamond Cut Compound 2.0 #85 with W-7000 using Black&Decker KP600.
3:Applied ColorX with W-8000 using the KP600.
4:The tyres were cleaned with HOT RIMS All Wheel Cleaner and dressed with Gold Class Endurance High Gloss.
5:The interior was cleaned with Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.

The result were excellent to me and my brother who helped me in the detailing.

I am not that happy with KP600. But it did the job. Since i am not having G-100.

Incredible results you got there. I was suprised, though, that you got such great results after going straight from #85 to Colorx.

That thing looks great!! Now just trying keeping the dust off of that dark color so it will remain clean...LOL I can't believe how much that car looks like the VW Passat (sp?). So, so similar from the side and rear view.

I had to test a spot first using ColorX alone and then #85 and Colorx. Using ColorX alone gave me good result but using both, fine scraches and swirls were easy gone.

Snowman, you are right , The Skoda Superb is really fine ride. It has the same look as the VW Passat, but cheaper..

Yup, it is Black&Decker KP600. I could not find it on B&D website anymore, i think it was introduced only for the Asian Market.

I was really in a hurry to take before pictures ( The camera was not with me at that time ). But as i was done with the car and got the results, i said to my self i must take some pics. Where i had to get one from a friend.

Anyway, i promise to take before and after pics in my next car detailing.
