my new 2nd hand car detail

hi guys,

just picked up my new car, and thought id give her a detail and share with you all...

products used were:
meguiars gold class wash and conditioner
meguiars claying system
#9 swirl remover 2.0
NXT tech wax
and meguairs polishing pads on a random orb

before pics: this was after washing and drying
the bonnet had noticeable cobwebbing


so did the doors


another of the bonnet


i then bought her into the garage and gave her the once over with claying..
the paint was reasonably clean...
after that applied swirld remover 2.0


another one after claying the boot and swirl remover


here is the bonnet after NXT tech wax...
no more cobwebbing! although not entirely perfect




doors cobwebbing almost gone

great work with #9

i myself started with the same product & whilst i was pleased i wanted to remove the last of the cobwebbing effect - i can highly recommend #80 as the next step in agressiveness then followed by #9. I feel that #80 is a great product but leaves a slightly hazy reflection, i follow with #9 which gives a shinier & clearer finish. Then top with NXT of course

they only stock #1, #2, #9 only

i could order it in, but jsut cannot be bothered

very good job in that white paint because white is difficult to show any difference but you did it.
