      Yes, cool pic indeed.

May I ask what products/methods you like to use on the white p/u?
I need to detail my son's just purchased white 1991 Mazda Miata convertible (142,000 miles).

Looks neglected on the exterior; was and is now a daily driver. Paint on door jambs still has some gloss to it, but exterior VERY dull.

I have a GC shampoo, clay, DA, 83, 80, SX, Colorx, DC1, DC2, nxt liquid and all the brushes, towels, pads, etc.

Not trying to make car perfect, as there really isn't any way due to age and being a daily driver. Just make as good as a hobbyist can reasonably and have car protected for winter.

Convertible top is new and in great shape.

      Thanks.

My truck.... I bought it new in september of 2002... I use NXT wax and booster wax as my protection maintance deal... But since its a daily driver (its my only car) when I do notice swirls, I normally go with a finsihing pad and #82 with my makita at around 1000-1200 rpms... There is no need for me to go any further with DA applied product, for I it leaves a 100% swirl free finsih on my trucks paint. (trust me many checks after 50/50 water/alcohol with sunlight and xenon light) Obviously it gets clayed and some #7 when I feel the need... But with white basecoat/ clear coat paint, you attack just like any other color, since you trying to restore the clear coat.... With the products you listed I would do the following:
        Wash
        Clay!!!!
83 via da with polishing pad
80 via da with polihsing pad
scratch x areas da cant get to
two thing coats nxt with finshing pad...

        Or
        You can try this
        Wash
        Clay
        color x with DA
        80 with da
        NXT
