I had remembered the joy I felt when I recieved my helmet from the painter... It was so nice and I put layers upon layers of wax.

Then one late night I decided to get on the throttle on my sport bike as I usually do on a two mile two lane country road straight away like I do every night usually when I go home but this time a deer bolted out in front of me at about 125mph and well, I clipped it and went sliding down the asphalt.... Thankfully I had my helmet, and leather jacket / gloves on... My jeans and boots were alright too amazingly.

    But my helmet,

I want to give a big shout out to Meguiar's for their awesome products I was able to near restore my helmet...

    I used Meguiar's,
    Clear Coat Body Scrub
    DC #1
    ScratchX
    DC #2
    ColorX
    Gold Class Wax
    NXT Tech Wax

and my my helmet as well as my bike's finish was somewhat saved!

From what I have heard, helmets that have been in an accident or otherwise damaged, should be replaced in order to maintain full protection levels.

You were very lucky. Glad you are ok.

    Nice bike, btw.

Yes you are correct, and I'm getting one for Christmas but I needed something to last me the remainding month or so of the riding season here in Virginia.

      Thanks,
It's a 250 with some modifications but I paid for it all on my own and at 17 years of age I'm quite proud of myself.
