    Here is a classic example of why NOT to let the dealership "prep" your vehicle upon delivery. This poor victim was only 2 weeks old before it came to me.

      Thanks for the compliment! Here is what I used:

      Paint

      1. wash
      2. clay (amazing how much contaminants are on a new car)
      3. #9 (although some areas needed DACP)
      4. #7
      5. #21 x 2

      Tires

      1. washed with soap & water
      2. endurance

      tire wells : hyper dressing.

                I have been using #7 with the pc (speed 2-3) for some time now and have had no issues, I use a black lake country pad with no pressure and work it in all directions. buff off by hand using an mf towel.

                Alot of people say #7 is unecessary if you are going to follow up with a sealant or wax, however I find it really brings alot of depth to dark color cars.
