  • 2 Viper Details

    1st one:
    2003 with 2000 miles.

This one had some light swirls and buff marks.

I tried out the cyclo for the first time on this Viper. I think it worked great and is perfect for a vehicle in this condition where the DA wouldn't take out all the swirls and the rotary would maybe be to much. The cyclo did a great job of taking out the buff marks and swirls.

    Exterior:
I used SFP with polishing pad on the cyclo.
Then did NXT with the DA

    Interior:
    Steam Clean Carpets
    Hyper-dressing on all trim/plastics/panels
    Leather Cleaner/Conditioner on seats

    Before:

    After:

    2nd One:
Not sure what year. About 6-7 years old
    Viper GTSR

I looked at these cars a couple weeks ago and gave the guy an estimate. Well after washing and claying this one I got out all my different pads and polishes to see what it would take to get the swirls out. When I quoted him I was thinking Rotary with DACP would take them out. So I tried that combo with a polishing pad. Here were my results:

Not good enough. So I went up to a cutting pad. Didn't do anything. Went to a cutting pad and Diamond cut. Nothing. Got the wool pad out and DACP. Worked okay so then tried Diamond cut. Now were getting somewhere:

So I called my customer and told him that the GTSR will need more work then I estimated which would cost more. I asked if he wanted me to stay to the estimate or go all out. He said to go all out and do whatever needs to be done. He then said he would be home in 15 minutes. So I got to work then he came home. I showed him the differences and explained everything to him. He then put his hand in his pocket and pulling out $100 and told me to take the lady out to dinner and that I do great work. :

I then did DACP with the rotary and a polishing pad.
Followed that with SFP with the DA and finishing pad.
Thats as far as I was able to get as I was beat and it was dark. I will be going back on Wednesday to apply the sealant and Ill take more pictures, including engine pictures as I cleaned that also.

This guy has 3 more vehicle he wasnts detailed; F-150, Hummer and his Dodge Ram.

That's a good thing, though. All that means is that it is more difficult to royally mess up the paint on an $80K supercar
