Wow, that is incredible (typical?) work Joe! What I always find interesting with stuff like that is that the exact same tool that created that horrible finish was used to restore it to such a perfect state. The rotary can cause such terrible damage to paint, yet can also do such an amazing restoration of it as well. It's all in the talent of the guy holding it.
This also explains why I don't own a rotary!
