These are stills from a video, a little out of focus and don't do justice to the results but you'll get the idea.

This is actually exactly what you want to use as the nap, the little cotton loops, will act to give your paint cleaners more bite, together with some elbow grease, the a paint on these two rigs should come out looking dramatically better.

I also picked up some Show Car Glaze 7 but havent tried it yet. I thought it might be better on our newer vehicles.

Actually, after you finish using the paint cleaners on these paints, the next best thing you could do would be to rub them down real good with the Show Car Glaze, this will revitalize these older single stage paints better than any other product on the market.

So I should use it after the polish but before the wax?

M07 Show Car Glaze is 'the' polish. You use it after the paint cleaner and before the wax.

I'll try the Show Car Glaze in place of the Deep Chrystal Polish this evening and report back with my results. I'm getting these two vehicles ready to sell. They should move much quicker and likely at a better price once they have been worked over.

Remember, this polish should only be applied after the paint cleaner has been used to remove the oxidation from these two vehicles. Apply using one of your terry cloth applicators to a panel at a time and the remove unless you feel comfortable applying to the entire car and then removing. Find and use your softest, plushes terry cloth towel for removing as the nap, (little cotton loops), will help to slice into and break-up and remove the Show Car Glaze off the finish. It works pretty well to only get most of the polish off and then move on. Remove the remaining polish during your second pass/wipe-off. Then apply your wax.

Remember also that thick coat of any of these products won't produce better result but will merely waste product and make removal more difficult. Use enough product, not too much, not too little...

Definitely. People base a lot of their purchasing decision on appearance.

I have been using microfiber towels for removal, should I switch to terry cloth? I think I know the answer but will defer to the expert opinion.

A good quality microfiber polishing cloth will be more gentle to the finish, this is especially important when working on clearcoats as they are scratch-sensitive. If you find your microfiber polishing cloths are working well for removing the #7 then use them, if you find it even a tad difficult, try switching to a 100% cotton towel with a thick, plush nap as the nap, (little cotton loops), tend to help slice into and break up the continuous film of #7 making it easier to remove from the finish. Often times I'll remove most of the #7 Show Car Glaze with a terry cloth towel and then do my final wipe with a microfiber.

Whichever way works best is the way to go; the goal is to apply and then remove the product without any difficulty and without instilling any scratches in the process.
