      Thanks for the write-up RP!

I was doing a search on something else when I saw your post about the Eddie Bower.

It just so happens that I have a late model EB coming up soon..........It has a black & gold 2 tone color paint job.

What kind of wheels are on your EB? I ran out of GC wheel cleaner, and have switched over to Wheel Brightner for the time being.

5 hours is moving pretty fast for all that work!.......... Did you tape off the trim before buffing?

        Hi RB:

The wheels are stock EB wheels for the 04. Nothing real special about them honestly; just standard cleared aluminum.

I didn't utilize a chemical on the wheels (and typically don't on my clients' vehicles either). I still find that elbow grease and a small, dedicated bucket of water/shampoo with a dedicated sponge works best for me and allows me the most versatility to get into the nooks and crannies of today's wheels.

5 hours wasn't too bad of a clip honestly. The paint wasn't in too bad of shape to begin with and thus, one pass (and a fairly rapid pass at that), took everything (for the most part) out.

Also, add the fact that I was trying to finish it quickly so that the wifey could get on the road to go to her home town for a baby shower and you can really see where the motivation on the time factor was coming in... LOL!

        Thanks for the response!

I find myself doing more of that now-a-days. It's a pain, but it pays off in the end.

Nice job. It is nice to see one take care of their ride right out of the gate.

Keep on it and enjoy the shine.

Sorry about that... I forgot to answer...

No, I didn't tape off however, I will typically. Time was a factor like I mentioned and thus, I really doubt I would've had the luxury of not having my wife pushing me to get everything done so she could leave...

Thanks SS! I appreciate it. It's a 'new-used' vehicle to us. It's an 04 that was repo'd and came to me in pretty good shape to start with... While not perfect, it is a used vehicle...
