I got a call from the customer who was ready to trade in his 2009 F-150 after getting it back from the body shop. Apparently, he had to return it to the body shop once as there were spots of purple and black under the clear. When he got it back the second time, it looked like this:

Aside from the horrific hologramming, the clear coat had many hazy spots:

There was a visible line on the roof where the body shop had masked off the sid but didn't cover the top completely. They only covered part of the roof. The overspray on the roof and hood felt like sand paper:

After hitting the hood and roof with Meguiar's aggressive clay, I was able to remove *some* of the overspray. Testing revealed that the only way to remove the overspray would be to damp sand with 3000 grit finishing pad and follow that with the nuke (M105 on a Solo maroon wool pad @ 2000 RPM on the rotary).
The sides only required the rotary with a Meguiar's cut N shine W4000 wool pad and M105.
Here's a 50/50 on one of the hazy spots:

Final polishing was done with my new G110 V2, 7" Meg's 2.0 finishing pad, and D151. Here's a before/after side by side:

And a few more afters:

Forgot to get any afters of the roof
Customer was extremely happy and doesn't have to trade in his beloved truck now!
It was a very good day.
Thanks for looking
