One of my friends from school told me the other day that her family wanted their 4 cars detailed.
You couldn't imagine the smile on my face!
The Tundra is the truck they use to haul their horse trailer as shes involved in several horse shows. Originally the truck was just supposed to be a interior detail and a coat of wax. After we picked up the truck and gave it a good look over, I told her that it would really benefit from a full polish as well, and offered the upgrade for only an additional $35! (At that point I really wanted to see the scratches go away, plus I figured starting off on a good food with the first of four to be detailed could never hurt. Heck maybe they'll want full details on their other cars too!)
We started off today at around 12:00, and ended the truck at around 7:00 with a lunch break in between. That's with my partner on the DA, myself on the interior, and my girlfriend standing by to be our helper. (For not having any interest in cars, she sure can run the LGM good on carpets!)
Besides being ridiculously abused, this truck had scratches all over it. We were aiming for 85% correction, and deep scratches aside, we achieved that easily. The interior wasn't the worst I've seen, but it was pretty messy and took quite a bit of work to bring up to par.
(On a side note, I got the opportunity to test the new gold class wax, LOVE IT!)
Here's what she looked like when we got her:

...you get the idea
Like I said the interior really wasn't the worst I've ever seen, but it still needed some TLC!

That's all for today. The truck and one of her other cars (that toyota that starts with a "P" and is trying to save the planet.... the one with brake problems, i kid i kid I know what the Toyota Pointless is
) sit in my garage at the moment. I plan on pulling them out tomorrow for some after pics before I drop them back off. I will leave you with one of my secrets though, some might find it trashy, but I personally love the smell of Megs products, and what better scent to have in your car when you pick it up than some good 'ol tech wax?

More to come!
Thanks for reading!
