I love to see the before/after shots of an engine. Looks great! Not sure why more people don't go for this extra bit of detail.

wowww awsome work on the motors, i dont like cleaning them but when i work on the paint my bro sometimes gives the client a little more for their money.. one time he got a 40dls tip just for the cleaning!!

Here are some quicks ones we do when detailing, IMO, super degreaser works best for engines.

How do you guys apply this stuff, for example the super degreaser? Just spray it on and hose it off, or spray it on brush it around and then hose it off? What is your process?

Engine bay looks amazing. That is one of my favorite parts about cleaning!

thanks HCAD... initial i was also contemplating about detailing the engine
partly running short of time, also this owner has tremendous expectation...like scratches remove, oxidized paint work...heavily stained glass & most of all waited 1 hour for his returning
But good works always enjoy its fruits...becoz of make over condition, he even invited his neighbour to see & his neighbour gave me her car to details along....

Super degreaser is very strong & over PH....
matter of facts i just use Megs APC & brushes

i always dilute apc ratio of 1:10 water, if it is not effective enough 1:5
after spray onto the affected area ...i will leave a couples minutes for it to agitate *& brushes off..repeat if necessarily & rinse off...

one good tips try to get lots of brushes...all sizes & length ....wear a glove

too me least aggressive is a better way .......
