This is my 1993 white Cadillac Fleetwood. It looks great to most people with just two coats of NXT, but to Car Crazy people like me, it has a lot of defects. It's hard to show defects in pictures of white cars and most people don't even see them in person. But to a car crazy person, under direct sunlight, moving yours eyes and head back and forth over the surface, they pop out like a sore thumb.
I took the pictures outside at night with halogen spotlights at an angle against the camera and no flash to emphasize the defects (this is why the color only appears white where the spotlights shine directly on the hood).
First photo after NXT wash and claying:
Second photo after polishing with PC, 8006 pad, #80 in 2x2 areas, at least 3 times in each area for a total of 2 hours on the hood--note surface defects gone and reflections of spotlights very clear:

Had trouble using #80 in the past, but now have conquered that. I'm starting to love polishing paint.
