Amazing turn around!!! I don't think I would want to sell it after what you did to it. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you, sir. After I do the interior, I certainly wouldn't want to sell it. However, if they decide to, at least they'll know they can get the most out of it now.

Why thank you. I had a similar reaction when it was all done and I stepped back to take it all in.

That's what's so fun about working on old single stage paints, the before and after results are so dramatic. With single stage you get more or less even dulling due to even oxidation over the entire finish with horizontal surfaces usually worse.

With clear coat finishes you have to deal with swirls and scratches in paint that's usually hard and no fun to work on.

That's one of the reasons most detailers including myself love to work on classics found in barns after having sat for years...

    Good job!

Now get to washing all the green pigment out of your polishing cloths!

Too bad it wasn't SINGLE STAGE. This was clearcoated!! Pretty bad condition for BC/CC, huh? Oh well, maybe one day I'll get to work on single stage paint.

Thanks for all the feedback! This was a fun one because I could actually see the paint coming back to life with each pass.

the headlights look a little faded, did you do anything to them? :]

The headlights, turn signals, and tail lights all need attention. The owner only wanted the paint taken care of (I did the bumpers as a bonus).

Michael, it wasn't even with the more powerful G110, it was the old G100! And, yes, it would be a shame if they sold it now.
