great work, you brought the shine and smile back on that car...

the headlights look a little faded, did you do anything to them? :]

Did you have to use M105 on the hood as well?
Yeah, M105 and a cutting pad. Followed it up with M80 and a polishing pad. Figured the old, hammered paint could use the rich polishing oils.

I bet the wife likes it better for a DD.

If they sell it, you brought back some value to her!

    Good show
Thanks, Aaron. They are going to bring it back so I can do a full interior including shampooing on it. The owner is also going to bring by his new truck for a winter prep.

Thanks. Yeah, I really like these full size Broncos. The owner has had this one since new. It's a 4 speed manual, too.

Here's the top of the front bumper after cleaning/scrubbing. The bumpers were hammered. No shine or reflection. This isn't the best picture but it shows how bad they were. This was taken in the garage at night with a flash. The front bumper, after around 15 years of use, had a lot of pitting in the chrome as shown in the picture.

Tell me about it. This was a hunting truck for the last 12 years. The owner said he only cared about mechanical maintenance, not appearance. It is now his wife's DD. He said he doesn't know what they're going to do with it (as in keep it or sell it), but either way it looks a heck of a lot better.

What did you use on the bumper?
Two things. A G100 with a cutting pad/M105 and NeverDull in spots. The bumpers were trashed. They were stained orange and after scrubbing them with a chrome cleaner and mesh covered sponge, they didn't look any better. The above combination saved them.

Thanks, Mark. This one was a challenger but the end result made it all worth it.
