Hoo boy!! Todd & Joe in the States and now seech and KC in Malaysia!

seech, M82 can do wonders on a finishing pad via rotary buffer. By all means give it a try.

          Truly a job well done.

No way I can possibly achieve that... ( not yet at least )

Mr. Sandman, thanks for the comments. Was my first Porsche so wanted to make sure I documented all of the steps. Glad you liked the pics.

Didn't actually wetsand the entire car. Mainly just the doors. But just the doors took a loooooong time to complete.

That is very good work. The Porsche looks great. It was severely neglected before you got your hands on it. I bet the owner was thrilled with your results. Great work, and writeup. Congrats on your first Porsche.

Fantastic job, the owner got a car back that is now worth thousands more than when you started! Just one observation you can pass along to the owner who might want to get the paint flattened out under the Martini Edition stickers, they're still available from Porsche. In fact, intuition tells me that the car has been repainted - including under the existing stickers - and replacement stickers were applied. If he loves your work up to this point, he might allow you to remove the existing stickers, flatten the paint to match the rest of the car, then apply new stickers. I'll bet he'll never tell the difference between old stickers and new.

Hmmm.... the owner told me that Porsche no longer had the stickers for sale. I'll mention it to him when I meet him and see what he says. Thanks for the info.
