What a transformation! Awesome work indeed. The picture when you pulled it out of your garage is simply awesome. Mini resto? Thats a understatement.

How long did this take you?
Thanks Andrew! I've been working on the car on and off over the last 5 weeks. I honestly have no idea how much actual time was invested though. I work full time and would go out for a few hours during the week nights and then some weekends. LOL, a lot of time was spent just looking at it and trying to figure out what to do next.

Thanks Tim! I was very happy with how it turned it. The paint was actually a joy to work on. It sanded out very quickly and polished back out with ease.

It must be an amazing feeling to be able to restore and detail a piece of history such as this car here.

by the way, how much does one of them bad boy's cost?

Fully restored if seen them listed from $40k to $70K. I think he was hoping to get $20-$25k for the red one.

A couple of gorgeously restored examples sold at Barrett Jackson in West Palm Beach back in April for a bit over $100,000 each. These were both stunning examples, absolutely flawless in every way.

That's alot of fluff! If I ever win the powerball I just may add one of these beauties to my list of cars to get. Again great job Rasky, I'm sure the detail alone added several thousand to the value!

                                Nice!

What hurts the value of the red one is the fact that the motor is still original and doesn't look as nice as the rest of the car. The second one I'm doing has been rebuilt and painted...though I feel they could have done a better job on the painting. I'm sure he can still get $20-25K for the red one though.

Heck, someone wants $12.5k for this one!!!
