Hey guys the new boat that I have recently bought with a couple of buddies needed some attention, the 67 Schiada was garaged for its entire life until the past two years, the boat only has a 244 hours on the clock and it is in emaculate shape for its age but the paint is gone but I have broght it back from the dead.
My process is
wash with DC wash
M80
and M07
and top it off with the marine wax from megs
the start of the project of restoring the paint, it has some cracks in the fiberglass but it is great shape.

I started to buff the metallic stripes and they came out great it is not finished yet I am making a counter clockwise circle around the boat this pic is after the wash and just about to start the bffing on the mettalic

The metallic paint shot, it was coming out nicely with M80 it was completely dull.

Here is a the pic of the diffeerence from the dead paint to the good shiney part, the old gel coat was like powder from sitting in the sun for two years.and it litterally soaked up all of the polish at first but then it finally started to shine up.

More to come in part 2 when it is finished
