  • Proven Power Goes Presidential! Work in progress...

I was not really out looking for a shop location but happened to run across a shop in Tampa called Proven Power and the owners and I clicked instantly. A week or so later we got to talking about some extra space they had next door and I ended up setting up shop that week! So far everything has worked out great and its a really awesome deal! Its so much better than working out of my single car garage here at home. I am still slowly converting the space to work better for me, I am sharing the space with their audio technician but there is plenty of space for the both of us not to get in each others way. The shop was a bit of mess though and the walls were unfinished and an ugly yellow color which just killed the mood. Of course, the OCD detailer in my quickly took care of that!

This is just a glimpse of the mess behind James, their audio guy.

The owner of the shop went to school for art/design and can do some amazing murals! They house a brand new DynoJet Dyno and the owner had already painted this enormous mural on his side of the shop!

So I finally convinced him to do a little painting on the other side. Like I said, the walls in this shop looked horrible, so we quickly went to work!

After laying down a coat of high gloss white and the stripe, we used a projector to project my logo onto the wall and traced it onto the wall for a crisp image. We still have to finish the rest of the logo and then put his logo on the right half of the wall, hopefully this weekend.

I decided to clean the ENTIRE shop and arranged everything neatly. :waxing:

Ill update as soon as the logos are finished!

Nice!!! Awesome to have your own shop now !

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

      I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
      Remove swirls my friends.

How is the overhead working in there compared to the house?? Did you pick up that much more work to cover that?? I am jelous of the space, if you have ever seen my 2 car garage, I have lights, but its unfinished, so its still dark..
              Fergy-

You're only as good as your last detail

The overhead is very low, which is why I did it. Not to mention its inside of a performance dyno shop who refers business to me everyday! Just being in the shop for the last two weeks, I have already began to see an increase in potential business. Today I was at the shop and had a guy with an 05 Turbo S just pull up out of no where and schedule a detail!
