  • How far gone is too gone?

I've been tossing around the idea of getting an older car with single stage paint that's in pretty rough shape and fixing it up. My question is, how bad can the condition of the paint be in before it's a lost cause? I found this old Studebaker on craigslist and am curious if it looks to you guys to be too far gone.

I can't answer that but you would be surprised with single stage. You can do some great extreme makeovers on them. I'm sure one of the single stage pro's will chime in.

      Give it a try!

At least the side will polish out and more than likely the horizontal surfaces will come out pretty good too...

I think for $600 it might be worth a shot. If it would turn out good I could probably sell it for a profit, so something to think about...
