  • Stratus vs can of spray paint

    Hey there,

Just started detailing this year. A friend of mine ran over a can of spray paint over a month ago. I offered to do the job for free so I could put together a promotional display at my car wash. The interior was very dirty and had a ton of stains. There were swirls in the paint too. This was my first experience wet sanding. The paint couldnt be removed with clay or anything else. I also am just getting good with a DA and buffer. This job took me a total of 16 hours. 3 hours to wet sand the front quarter and steel wool to remove the spray paint from a painted rim. I had to polish the rims after with DA polish and a powerball. Here are the befores:

All Purpose Cleaner on carpet, upholstery and dash. Followed with (I hate to admit) armor all for dash and leather. Megs plastic polish for clear plastics and radio. Thats it! I'm switchin to #40 and detailer leather as soon as I use up my armor all products. Megs products are always at the very least as good as anything else and 90% of the time better than anything else.

            Thanks Megs!

Great work! Once again another car that just makes me sick. I don't understand how people can do that to a car.
