*** UPDATE ***

Well, I finished buffing out with D151 and the gloss was great, but the hood was still full of etching, deeper scratches, and some other defects. Soooo - I decided it was time to do a little wetsanding

I did a small test spot using unigrit 1500 and 2000 and it came out great! I'll post some pics tomorrow as I wetsand the hood and then cut it with M105 to a nice shine. I think I'll try 83 followed by 80 instead of 151 on the hood and see if I can get just a little more gloss and shine out of it.

WOW! Those are the final results I'm hoping for, but I won't quite get there due to the number of deep defects in the paint.
