Thanks! I really enjoy the transformation - I'm hooked!

Thanks man! I knew I would leave something out! I absorbed a lot of info this morning!

Wow the pics turned out really great! The only thing I have to add is we used 4" pads on the PC, yellow for the #83 and white for the #80.

The Voices learned very quickly and got the technique down pat (as you can see!).

Great job Voices! Looking forward to polishing out the Ridgeline

    2000 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100

So, my first attempt at detailing... I've washed and waxed for years, but never the "right way". The difference in doing it correctly is Night & Day! Gas tank is from a Honda VT100C motorcycle. Front & rear fenders to come. Thanks to Kerrinjeff for the use of his driveway, pads and products for me to test and learn with! Thanks for the help!!!
    Wash
    Clay
    M105 by Hand
    #83 by PC
    #80 by PC
    NXT 2.0 by Hand

So, bike has been outside under a bike cover for over a year with no maintenance. After washing, it didn't look too bad... then we took a closer look...

    More Small Scratches

Large scratch with paint transfer and close up of swirls & scratches left most likely by the cover blowing over the bike for so long.

This is where the large scratch with paint transfer was... It's completely gone!!!

Here is a test we did with Kerrinjeff's NXT 1.0 and my NXT 2.0. We ran 1" tape down the middle before any wax. 1.0 was applied on the left, 2.0 applied on the right.

The NXT 2.0 appears darker after application then the 1.0. I Like It!

There are a few very minor scratches, that I may wet sand in the future as I get more experience, but I know I need to walk before I run. Gratuitous pictures of the completed detail.

If you made it this far... Thanks for trudging through my first detail! I know I have much more to learn, and I'll get there - I'll just keep absorbing all the knowledge here on the forum!
