These are before and after shots of the black Range Rover I detailed earlier this week. I started with a wash using a 2 bucket method with grit guards, a Gilmour foam using super Soap and Gold Class, followed by a thorough rinse and drying with Meguiar's waffle weave drying micro fibers.
Then I clayed the vehicle with a Meg's mild blue clay kit and Last Touch at a 1:1 ratio.
Next I buffed out the swirls with a FLEX on speed 4.5, using Meguiar's M105 on a Lake Country Foamed Wool Pad. ONE PASS is all it took for the swirls, and occasionally 2 for deeper scratches. It left no micro-marring or haze at all.
I followed this up with a Cross-Cut WHITE polishing pad on speed 5, using Menzerna 106FF.
Next I went over the car with Meg's body solvent, followed by Mother's Carnuba Cleaner Wax (Sorry, lol, I needed to use it up haha).
After that I sealed the paint with a coat of Meg's #21 2.0
I think the pictures tell the rest...
Pre-wash shot...notice the overall haze on the vehicle:

Mud and minor water spots from sprinklers:

Before the paint work, after the wash hood shot:

Shot of the spidering:

Minor scratches and more spidering:

And now for the after shots…ENJOY!

And this is actually a shot of the door…100% reflection anyone?
