Great work on the van Nick - I'm particularly impressed by the way the wheels turned out.

What baffles me is how people allow their vehicles to get to this state. I know that people say that a clean car is a sign of a sick mind, but if that's the case I'd rather be daft than dirty

I just detailed a 2006 LIMITED Black Explorer with a white/light tan leather interior that was... *DRUM ROLL* WAY worse than that van INSIDE. The carpet was freaking unbelievable. TUBES of red lip gloss on the seat backs...an exploded tube on sunscreen (Incredibly evasive, btw), and so much gunk build-up on the leather...oh God.

At any rate, I spent 4.5 HOURS on the interior alone!

My day started at 9:00 AM sharp, and finished at 10:00 PM.... all for a whopping $200.

I guess I need to learn to adjust my prices better, as well as not be such a softy for friends...oh well

On the bright side, the "customer" was floored and said it looked better than any new car he had ever seen...WELL DUH!

This is why I don't allow eating in our cars/SUV. My friends can't understand why. IMO, I think old food on the floor in a car is gross...
