Ok i know this SUV looks alot like the other one i posted pics of but its not. If you look closely you will see that this one has a shorter body style, different rims and tires ect.. I just wanted to point that out first. Ok so i got this SUV in a couple of days ago and have been working on it since but i am finally finished. She ran through some paint on the highway a few months back and had it all over the tires, fender wells, and the lower half of the body and splatter all over. I figured a pressure washer should take care of it but even with the tip of the pressure washer on the paint it would not budge it. I thought maybe i need some paint thinner or lacquer thinner but i decided to try out some pure super degrease without diluting it. To my amazement after spraying it on and waiting 15 to 30 seconds then hitting it with the pressure washer the paint came off so easily like it was still wet! Other than the paint on the outside of the car i compounded the whole car to remove all swirls and scratches, polished, wax ect...
Process and Products
Exterior
1. Remove splattered paint - Super Degreaser/ High pressure water
2. Clean Rims - Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner
3. Clean Tires - Super Degreaser followed by Hot Shine Tire Foam
4. Wash - NXT Car Wash
5. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit
6. Light Sanding where needed - 3000 grit
7. Compound and Polish car ( Rotary )
a. #84 w/ W4000 wool pad
b. #83 w/ W8006 polishing pad
c. #82 w/ W9000 finishing pad
8. Wax - NXT Gen Tech Wax 2.0 X 2 ( DA )
9. Clean Windows and mirrors - NXT Glass Cleaner
10. Polish chrome side rails - Hot Rims Chrome Polish
11. Dress Trim - Gold Class Trim Detailer
12. Dress Tires - Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel
13. Restore light hazing on headlights - PlastX
Interior
1. Vacuum
2. Shampoo Carpets - Blend of OxiClean and Megs Quick Out
3. Clean and condition leather - APC/ Gold Class Leather Cleaner and Conditioner
4. Clean and protect plastic/ Vinyl/ Rubber - Quick Interior Detailer/ NXT Gen Tech Protect
