Today we polished a (2 months old, if that) Lexus 430. It had terrible swirls and scratches.

After we washed it, I measured the paint thickness. I actually found it to be to be pretty thick measuring up to 7.8 mils.

Then the fun began. This vehicle had a tinted clear coat on it that was SOFT to say the least. It fought us for awhile ( we took about two hours longer than expected) but we came up with a #105 followed by #80 speed glaze combination that worked beautifully.
