  • Upcoming project...

Here's a car that we're getting ready to start. A lot of people know how much I love this car, and I'm finally getting a chance to try and make it look a little better....YEAH!!!

We got it washed, and figured out that it needed some work done to it before we got started on it. Hopefully it won't take them long to get it all ready to go. I' excited about working on it

      Sweet!

Our guess is you're going to bring out the full richness of color in that yellow paint.

We'll take those wheels for our Z if the owner's tired of them.

Yeah, sorry. Going for a full buff and polish on this one. Pictures were taken after the initial wash. Got it all washed, and the dang clutch was jacked up. So they're doing the repairs on it now. Hope to get started on it soon.

Customer is a long time client of mine. He owns a Nissan dealership(hence all the Nissans in the background). And his private collection is on the property in and enclosed climate controlled building.
I've been hounding him for about a year to let me get that Datsun cleaned up and looking good. But it wasn't a priority for him. Now he gives me the "go ahead", and the dang thing wouldn't move It's like putting a cookie in front of my face, then yanking it away

Which product are you going to start with to restore and revitalize that old single stage paint?

Well, I'm anxious to try the m105. So I'll probably start with that. If I can't achive the results I want, I'll throw a Solo/80 combo on it and see how that does.

                  Good man.

As for products, don't think the M105 has any of the polishing oils like the M80 does so you might want to test both in their own section and see which one is giving you the best results. If you use the M105 for the entire car, you might want to re-polish with something like the M80 or the #3 as a second step before wax. Those older single stage paints really like these two products as well as some of our other polishes.

Looking forward to the after pics...

Yeah, sorry about that. If those pictures were after, then I need to rethink my detaling career

I guess I'm really anxious to work an entire vehicle with the 105. 80 will be my last step before my LSP. This car is very dry, which I'm sure you can see in the pictures.

I'll get the after up as soon as I'm finished with it.

Definately looking forward to seeing the after pics. That yellow is really going to pop after you are done. Sure is gonna make the owner think twice of why he didnt have you do it earlier.

That paint looks thirsty for some Meguiar's love. I can't wait to see the after pics.
